The Stainless Steel Plate has a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that is not easy to rust, but it is not absolutely rust-free. Stainless steel plate refers to steel plate resistant to corrosion by weak media such as atmosphere, steam and water, while acid-resistant steel plate refers to steel plate resistant to corrosion by chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt.
According to the manufacturing method, there are two types of hot rolling and cold rolling, including cold-rolled plates with a thickness of 0.5-3mm and hot-rolled plates with a thickness of 3-100 mm.

Stainless steel plate performance:

1. Corrosion resistance
Stainless steel plate has the ability to resist general corrosion. Long-term heating in the temperature range of chromium carbide may affect alloys 321 and 347 in harsh corrosive media. Mainly used in high temperature applications, high temperature applications require materials to have strong sensitization resistance to prevent intergranular corrosion at lower temperatures.

2. High temperature oxidation resistance
Stainless steel plates have high temperature oxidation resistance, but the oxidation rate will be affected by inherent factors such as exposure environment and product form.

3. Physical properties
Its heat transfer is better than other metals with higher thermal conductivity.

The alloy is milled into coils, sheets, plates, bars, wire, and tubing to be used in cookware, cutlery, household hardware, surgical instruments, major appliances, industrial equipment Storage tanks and tankers used to transport orange juice and other food are often made of stainless steel, because of its corrosion resistance and antibacterial properties. This also influences its use in commercial kitchens and food processing plants, as it can be steamcleaned and sterilized and does not need paint or other surface finishes.

when stainless steel sheet thickness is over 12mm, each standard plate weight is almost 1 ton, so when the surface is common pickled surface, not make mirror surface or brushed hairline surface, it no needs special packing, wood pallet will be ok.
when the stainless steel sheet are cut by laser cutting or water-jet cutting to be machine parts, it needs to be packed very carefully to make sure the parts not be scraped, the surface need to be packed with thick plastic anti-collision film to make sure it in safe condition.
